Hola from México! I’ve been here for three weeks now, and figured it was as good a time as any to start documenting my travels around the country and beyond (and at the same time, restart this blog). Tadaa ~
Er, let me back it up a bit. You probably want some context, right?
Around this time about two months ago, I was boarding a plane at Sydney International with a one-way ticket to Toronto. Ok, technically I made a couple stops along the way (mahalo Honolulu, ‘sup Winnipeg), but the point is I left Australia with a plan to travel around South America with the boyfriend for a few months.
Fast forward a few weeks where we spent time visiting friends and family in Canada and the U.S., the “quick stop” we’d planned to make in Mexico soon became a bit of an extended stay. And so I’m writing this post from an Airbnb in Tulum, knowing full well that we planned at least a another week in the country and then some before we head for Belize.
I’m sure we’ll make it to South America eventually? 😅
